8 And when the Lamb took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders bowed down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls full of incense (these are the prayers of the saints). 9 And they sang a new song, saying:
You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and you bought us[a] for God with your blood
out of every tribe and language and people and nation.
10 You made them[b] to be a kingdom and priests for our God,
and they will reign on the earth.
